About Jane Xie

Jane Xie is a qualified Acupuncturist and Pharmacist under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has a passion for natural health and Chinese Medicine, with a particular interest in Women's health. She graduated from the University of Sydney's Pharmacy School and subsequently completed her studies in Bachelor Health Science (Acupuncture) at the Endeavour College of Natural Health.

Having worked in the community pharmacy setting for 9 years, Jane realised the limitations of pharmaceutical medication for the treatment of many acute and chronic diseases. While there is a place for clinical drug intervention, Jane believes in first and foremost, optimising the body's natural self-healing capacity. This belief was instilled from an early age under the influence of her father, under whom she currently learns and practises Tai Chi. He has imparted much wisdom from the rich philosophies of ancient Chinese culture. In the same vain, Chinese Medicine flows from the same streams of philosophical thought - namely Daosim, Confucianism and Buddhism.

Therefore in her practice, Jane combines the knowledge of modern science and medicines with the ancient skills of Chinese Medicine using acupuncture & moxibustion, cupping, patent Chinese herbal medicines, Chinese dietetics, Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage) and exercise therapy, to deliver the best possible care for her patients. The deep art and science of Chinese Medicine motivates her to continuously improve her knowledge and skills, and to empower her patients that are entrusted to her care.
